The nearly 100 year old car manufacturer is seeing a rebirth, in part due to the success of it’s electric vehicles.
MG has been focusing on offering affordable EVs to the British public, and the efforts have been paying off. In recent years, MG has had numerous obstacles to overcome as competitors have taken over the land with cheaper cost vehicles, with better brand recognition. However over the last 18 months, MG has seen some of it’s best growth. Making them Britain’s fast growing car manufacturer. In 2020, MG grew by 41%, doubling sales from 2018. The success has not slowed down for the British car maker as 2021 is already seeing nearly 90% growth.
One third of all vehicles sold have been electric. Those sales have been for the MG ZS EV, the MG5 EVs and the MG HS Plug-In model. Competitive pricing and a 7 year warranty is making the vehicles worthy options for Britain, and maybe rest of world one day.
