Peugeot and Citroen commercial sales to begin offering free telematics trial

Peugeot and Citroen have announced that they will offer a 6 month trial of Free2Move Connect Fleet with their commercial vans.

Groupe PSA (now Stellantis) spun out Free2Move Connect Fleet last year as a commercial vehicle telematics platform able to track, coach, score and plan driver travels and reduce risk. Integrated telematics ensure a simpler process, with fewer support requirements however manufacturer interoperability is difficult if not impossible. Free2Move will install additional hardware when need to increase compatibility with older Stellantis vehicles, as well competitor vehicles.

Peugeot and Citroen will begin offering 6 free months of telematics services with the purchase of their commercial vehicles

The sale of each vehicle includes 6 months of the telematics based offering. After the 6 months are over, owners will need to purchase one of 3 available “packs” to continue the service.

Free2Move offers 3 levels of service within it’s platform. Pack 1 to Pack 3, adding driver coaching and eco-scoring at Pack 2, adding live mapping and route details at Pack 3. Pricing varies by country, due to cellular connectivity and other consideration, averaging between 5€ and 15€ for all 3 packs.
