Over the last week, both GM and Kia leveraged a new year to announce new looks.
GM’s change is aligned with it’s desire to be a younger, EV focused car manufacturer. This follow’s GM recent debut of their Ultium Platform, which will be leveraged for all of their electric cars, SUVs, and trucks.
The new GM logo uses lower case letters and a more modern color palette.
Kia’s new logo was unveiled by a pyrotechnic display in the skies above Incheon, Korea. Leveraging 303 drones, KIA synchronized lighting and fireworks to debut it’s new logo. Kia’s new logo is meant to emphasize ‘symmetry’, ‘rhythm’ and ‘rising’.
Along with the new logo, Kia added a new tagline ‘Movement that inspires’. The new logo is expected to appear on all new 2022 vehicles.
